Any audio or video file that you put into the Dropbox Myna app will be automatically be transcribed into a SmartTranscript.
Here's a few hints and tips:
Use the Dropbox desktop app
The simplest way to get data to Myna is to use the Dropbox desktop app, which you can find at https://www.dropbox.com/install.
Once you have connected Myna to Dropbox in your Myna settings you will see a new folder under Apps (something like C:\Users\<your name>\Dropbox (Personal)\Apps\MeetMyna in Windows). This is the place to put your audio and video files
Reduce your disk usage
Depending on your Dropbox plan, you can activate "SmartSync". This allows you to designate a folder as "Cloud only" so that it doesn't use up a lot of space on your hard drive. Take a look at this feature at https://www.dropbox.com/smart-sync or just right-click on your MeetMyna folder and see if you have it available:
If you do, you can select "Online Only"
Record anywhere
No need to be tethered to your computer. If you are on the go (if we are ever allowed out again), you can capture meetings and notes on your portable device, and upload them via Dropbox, if you have it installed on your phone
