Connecting Microsoft 365 Calendar

How to Connect

  1. Open Myna and go to Settings > Calendar.
  2. Click Connect Microsoft.
  3. A browser window will open with the Microsoft sign-in page.
  4. Sign in with your personal Microsoft account or work/school account.
  5. Grant Myna the Calendars.Read permission when prompted.
  6. The browser will redirect back and your calendar will appear as connected in Myna.

What Myna Can Access

Myna requests the Calendars.Read permission only. It can:

  • See your upcoming events (title, time, attendees)
  • Match events with detected meetings to auto-name recordings

Myna cannot create, edit, or delete calendar events.

Personal vs. Work Accounts

Both personal Microsoft accounts (outlook.com, hotmail.com) and work/school accounts (Microsoft 365, Office 365) are supported. If your organisation uses conditional access policies, you may need to contact your IT department for approval.

Multiple Accounts

You can connect multiple Microsoft accounts. Repeat the connection process for each account. All connected calendars will be used for meeting detection.

Disconnecting

To disconnect your Microsoft Calendar, go to Settings > Calendar and click Disconnect next to the account you want to remove. You can also revoke access from your Microsoft Account app permissions page.
