The Floating Recording Bar

When a recording starts, Myna's main window minimises to stay out of your way. A compact floating recording bar appears instead, giving you at-a-glance recording status.

What the Floating Bar Shows

• Red REC indicator — a clear visual confirmation that recording is active
• App name — the detected meeting application (e.g., "Zoom", "Teams")
• Timer — elapsed recording time
• Audio levels — real-time visualisation of microphone and system audio levels
• Stop button — click to end the recording

Restoring the Main Window

To return to the full Myna interface while recording, click the Myna icon in your system tray (bottom-right of the taskbar). The main window will open without interrupting the recording.

Positioning

The floating bar appears at the top of your screen by default. You can drag it to reposition it anywhere on your display.
